Youth Ministry for Juniors and Seniors!

Ignite is part of the High School Youth Ministry program at St. Thomas More. Most of the youth in the Ignite group have been confirmed, but the group is open to any high school students that have already received confirmation and/or are in the 11th and 12th grade. The aim of Ignite is to help students stay involved in their faith after Confirmation, as well as to provide a supportive community to upper high school students who have not been confirmed.

The Ignite group is typically in a different format than the other youth ministry sessions. It is more intimate and discussion-based. The group is about becoming close with some fellow travelers with whom you can share your faith, have lots of fun and experience God. Having faith means having true friends, friends who will stick by you and be God's presence for you, as you navigate through the rough waters of life. Ignite is an oasis for those who are thirsting for God and we want to invite you to come and quench your thirst!

Many high schoolers, especially in 11th and 12th grade, in our parish participate in the STM Ignite Youth Group. We focus on topics of interest to the youth in our program such as morality, spirituality, scripture, and more!

Ignite allows young people to further explore their faith in a relaxed environment through discussions, activities, prayer, evangelization, friendships, spirituality and fun!
