Spiritual pilgrims, throughout time, have traveled to sacred places seeking the Spirit of God anew. Whether traveling near or far, pilgrimage is an inner and outer journey and a spiritual practice that can be transformative. The pilgrim’s call is still heard today, and members of our communities have responded.
If you feel that call or are curious about the experiences of pilgrims, please join us for an eight-week, Wednesday night series, September 27-November 15 (6:30-7:30 p.m.), via Zoom. Contemporary pilgrims from within our communities will share stories, photos, reflections and gifts from recent journeys.
Some well-known and lesser-known pilgrimage destinations will be featured, including Lourdes; Our Lady of Fatima; Spain and Italy in the footsteps of Ignatius of Loyola; El Camino de Santiago in Spain; the Holy Land; Iona, Scotland; Cuba; and Ireland.
Presenters include Mary Ellen McGuire, Eileen Sanchez, Mark and Janet Shaw, Cindy and Ed Neely, Jim Hynes, Pat Grebe, and Cate Alexander.
