In addition to her Doctorate in Education, Dr. Mitchell holds Master's Degrees in School Counseling and School Psychology from Loyola Marymount and two Master’s Degrees in Education from Cal State Dominguez Hills.
After 40 years of service in education, Dr. Mitchell established a privatepractice as a consultant and Educational Psychologist. She works with several non-profits including NAMI and Faith Connections on Mental Illness.
Marianne is very active in her parish, St. Thomas More. She is the chair of the Mental Health Ministry, works in the Caring and Sharing Center and the church garden. She enjoys the opportunity to speak to youth groups and provide in-service for catechists on a variety of topics.
